I have gone through countless of the EA sets (11 in total), and words couldn't possibly encapsulate my anger toward them and their terrible hardware. I had always wanted to take the plunge into real drumming after getting up through Expert on Rock Band, and I finally went off the deep end and bought a Roland TD-3. Knowing about the J5, I knew I had a match made in heaven. This is awesome city. Thanks again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It hooked up easily, and after a few short minutes of sensitivity adjustment I was in serious business. All the skill I had in Rock Band before was for nothing, when despite my best attempts I couldn't even 100% a song because of the terrible drums. I'm gold starring left and right now thanks to the J5. GregI got the J5 box and it is working AWESOME! This is way better than the midi solution, no crosstalk, no missed notes or anything. Thanks for all of your hard work on this project, it is worth every penny. With the midi solution, I couldn't get all 3 of my cymbals working but with the J5, they are all working like a champ. Also, this is plug and play compared to the hours of setup it takes to get the midi solution working correctly. The J5 Rocks!

KickBox Information. 
The KickBox was developed to allow the use of a real drum pedal using an electronic kick pad with RockBand. The pedal can be a single or double bass pedal. Kickbox converts the electronic kick signal to a momentary trigger pulse identical to what the original game pedal produces. It should be sold in stores!!. I am really impressed with the quality as well!!! Jeff Mike, your kick box does exactly what you claim it does. Without any adjustment of the trimpot either. Seriously I just plugged the Roland KD-8 into it and plugged it into the rockband drum kit, hooked up my real kick drum pedal and instantly I have accurate triggering into the Rockband game on XBOX360!. Freaking brilliant! Sooo easy to setup and makes game play soooo much better. Thanks! Ross
Wow you are the man!! Box works perfect , very sensitive picks up the slightest down stroke of the bass beater!! Even double strokes!! Which I probably wont need on the RB game unless they come out with a bunch of Dragonforce, or some hard heavy metal songs for the game. The blue indicator light comes on strong as well. Very pleased with the box. I teach private drum lessons and will be recommending your product to my students and the guys down at the drum shop where I get my gear. Have you thought of making a demo video and posting it on youtube showing off what your boxes can do and refer them to ebay???
